John Ribalkin, Owner of VERICO Nova Financial Services in North Vancouver, talks about his role as one of the founders of the Mortgage Brokers Association of BC.  “We were having trouble with the province potentially changing the rules to the mortgage brokers act, which eventually, they did.  We were trying talk to the regulatory body individually and we did not have strength.  A group of us got together and we tried to get a communal voice and with that voice, finally the government listened to us.

John says, “To develop the industry, you got to think outside of your personal business, your coroporate business and think about the overall integrity of the industry…”
